Waterplay Solutions Corp. named one of the best companies to work for

Each year, leading industry magazine B.C. Business takes nominations, conducts thousands of surveys and performs multiple interviews all in the name of uncovering the province’s best companies to work for. With a minimum 80% survey response rate required on behalf of all employees, just making it into the running can be a true challenge.
Results were released this month and after many months of waiting, Waterplay Solutions was named the 2nd best manufacturing company to work for in the province “it’s so great to see that what you hope is a positive workplace, is in fact perceived as one by the people you work with,” stated Lisa Neilson, Director of Communications.
The aquatic play pioneer didn’t just make the list because of positive employee survey results, it was equally attributed to their unique focus on work/life balance with HR initiatives that encourage staff to have a personal life and goals outside of work as well as annual team building functions; this year for example, team building activities included an afternoon ball hockey tournament and a group effort at the local Salvation Army preparing goodies for the needy.
