Fun for the whole family at Berkenhof Tropical Zoo! 

When the Berkenhof Tropical Zoo began a large-scale refurbishment of their grounds, they wanted to create a space that would offer visitors a diverse range of activities. This would allow those visiting the tropical garden to enjoy the zoo, regardless of the weather conditions.  

A nature-inspired Waterplay splash pad was the perfect addition! Boasting fun features from the Grasslands collection such as the Ladybug Soaker, an Aneth Bloom 1, Corn Poppy, Sparx, and an assortment of Surf Stones, this colourful splash pad blends seamlessly with both the inhabitants and natural ambience of the tropical garden. It also provides fun for the entire family and is a great place to cool off during the warm summer months! 

Set on a pre-programmed timed sequence, the splash pad runs for 3-4 minutes at a time with 70% of the spray features set to operate simultaneously. Once the timer runs out, it can easily be re-set with the push of a button using an activator. This helps ensure that the splash pad doesn’t run when not in use. A terrace installed next to the spray park provides space for parents and guardians to relax while kids play!

Du plaisir pour toute la famille au Berkenhof Tropical Zoo!

Lorsque le Berkenhof Tropical Zoo a entrepris une vaste rénovation de ses installations, il souhaitait créer un espace offrant aux visiteurs une grande variété d’activités. Cela permettait aux familles de profiter du jardin tropical tout en découvrant le zoo, quelles que soient les conditions météorologiques.

Une aire de jeux d’eau Waterplay inspirée par la nature s’est révélée être l’ajout idéal! Dotée d’éléments ludiques de la collection Grasslands — tels que le Ladybug Soaker, un Aneth Bloom 1, le Corn Poppy, le Sparx et un assortiment de Surf Stones — cette aire de jets colorée s’intègre harmonieusement aux habitants du jardin et à son ambiance naturelle. Elle offre également du plaisir à toute la famille et constitue un lieu rafraîchissant pendant les chaudes journées d’été.

Programmé sur un cycle prédéfini, le système de jets fonctionne pendant 3 à 4 minutes, avec 70% des jeux d’eau activés simultanément. Une fois le cycle terminé, il peut être facilement réactivé à l’aide d’un bouton-poussoir. Ce système permet de s’assurer que l’aire de jeux ne fonctionne pas inutilement lorsqu’elle n’est pas utilisée. Une terrasse installée à proximité permet aux parents et accompagnateurs de se détendre pendant que les enfants s’amusent!
